Who I am:
Brooklyn based photography artist who focuses on industrial scientific photography and travel. Bachelors from Brooks Institute (RIP) in the same focus. Trying to keep my love for the arts alive through different creative processes. Oh, and my name is Dylan.
the Ouroboros - in Alchemy its known as a driving force of the universe, a give and take, and for me it can represent the creative process. Art is fleeting, it is created to instigate a response from an individual. Once it is created it fades away until it is needed once more. The circular cycle of creation and destruction driving the need for art reminds me of the Ouroboros. My way of creating is to show what the world has to offer, even when we cant see it with our given sight.
What Atomsk Labs is:
it’s a collection of images created using techniques learned when I was studying industrial scientific photography. In the collection you will see infrared photography, photomicrography, full spectrum photography, along with other styles. These different ways of using such fascinating and unique techniques can offer a different view on the world around us.
